So I had a hangover this morning!!!!!!!!

Koos Kombuis

My sister and a couple of friends decided next week to have a ladies night again. We went to go watch a local artist(Koos Kombius) at Firken. We had such a joll.I only got home at 1am this morning. We listened to some excellent local Afrikaans music, laughed, drank and just had fun.

Thanks girls the next one is already being planned.

The Cow,a raft and the mighty Vaal river

We left early Monday morning for Parys near the Vaal river in the Free state. The weather was horrible and we were not looking forward to spending the day in a raft.At about 10:30 we headed out and by now the sun was shining. We had our safety brief and paired up.Luckily I paired up with a friend and which is also one of my colleges. We have know each udder for six years and he is like my baby brother.(Also very yummies so at least I had the young, hot guy in my raft.HEHE)

The weather soon turned again and we were freezing our asses off.The rapids was not very big but we ended up enjoying the day.We partied till late the next morning.I needed this and did not think about my clients, work or family.

The cow goes farming

My car had to go for it's 80 000km service yesterday morning.I love my froggie car. It's a Fiat Multipla, the most ugliest car ever manufactured. Needless to say the man phoned me yesterday morning just before 2am to advise that he will be sleeping over at one off his colleges, as he was a little intoxicated.

I had to phone him at 6:30am to remind him that he needs to get home as my car needs to be at the dealer before 8:00am.I told you in my previous post that his lunch was going to be extended as I know The Bull all to well.

OK.Now I had 2 choices. Either take my bike to go to work or use The Bull's Ford Ranger.Boy oh boy, I have never felt so butch in my life.I kept on getting the urge to drive to the nearest farming community.

I picked up my car this morning and fell in love with it all over again.

Joke for the day

Tit for Tat or is that udder for udder

So its that time of the year again.Silly season!
So the man had his year end lunch today. (emphasis on lunch)
It is seven already and no sight of The Bull.

I guess it gets down too : You came home late last night, so tonight I will.
Guess he didn't notice the picture I used as my avatar on the biking forum I'm on.

Just kidding.I'm not the aggressive type.I am now going to make myself a nice cup off coffee, jump into bed and read.Bliss.

Next Monday and Tuesday it's my turn. I however will be away for my year end bash. Can not wait.Four days and counting...........

Have a moovelous day.

The cow went walk about.

OK so I had to see a client last night at seven. The kids were already in bed everybody had supper so off I went.I finished up and on my way back home I had an evil cow thought.Lets test this new found freedom of mine.

Conversation went something like this:

ME: I am going for coffee at my sisters house.

HIM: OK.

ME: See you later.

HIM: OK

So I had a drink and coffee with my sister. It felt good but there was also a sense of guilt.I will definitely have to get over that feeling.Got home just before ten.
The man was still awake so I made some coffee and went to bed.I feel like I'm sixteen again and sneaking around.

I'm itching !!!!!!!

Geez I forgot all about the itching after you get new ink.It was fine till yesterday.I spent most off my day in the car visiting clients and my pants kept creeping up over my tat.

It has started to peel and it is itching like hell.I managed to sit at my desk for only 30 minutes today.I feel like a "cow in a box".

We are going river rafting next week Monday and Tuesday. Will need to take lots of sunblock to protect my newest brand.I can't wait as I have been there before and it is great fun.

The rapids aren't that big, you can hardly call it rapids but the time you get to spend in a boat with one of your work friends are going to be fun.

The Cow,the bull and his friend the horse !

So I waited for the man to return home on Sunday. The arrangement was for them to be back at 12am.I eventually phoned them just after one. They were on their way.Yeah right.
Arrival time was only at 5:30pm.

Needless to say we had a long moderated chat.I will from now on do things that I would like to do as well.I can't remember when last I just phoned a friend and said lets go for coffee.Normally I get in touch with reality by taking my daughter to go do shopping.

Yippeeee,it's my turn to have some time to myself.Lets see if this pans out.

Mad cow disease

So the weekend started with the hubby going for drinks with some guys we ride with. The Cow stayed at home with the kids.
Saturday we had a bunch of guys over to work on their bikes. The husband and friends enjoyed the day as the Cow catered and looked after the kids.
This morning just after six the husband left to go riding with some friends.I was advised last night that they will be back at twelve. The Cow is still alone with the kids at home.

Husband: 3 Cow: 0
I love my kids don't get me wrong but I never have time for myself. If I do go somewhere my daughter is almost always with me.I can't remember when last I got to do what I like, when I like to.

The Cow does Hogsback

I promises a report on our Easter Cape trip so here goes.As I said before I ride a bike and so does my hubbie. But we do it the dirt way.We both have dual sport bikes made for road and off road.
I also belong to an internet forum where we discuss the bikes, trips and general stuff. So once a year all the guys and gals from the forum get together for our annual BASH.

This year the spot was Hogsback in the Eastern Cape.Beautiful area and riding.
We decided to trailer the bikes to Port Elizabeth as my folks stay there and then meet up with th PE guys and join them on their trip to Hogsback.

We left on the Wednesday. The twins was to stay at home with my sister and we took my daughter with to go visit her grandparents. (She drove us nuts all the way to PE and we discovered that her beloved Teddy was not in the car.We had to put up with thirty minutes of crying until she fell asleep.)

The Thursday we spend scooting around PE and packing the bikes. That evening we drove out and met some of the guys for a drink. Some off the people I only knew from the forum and it was nice putting names to faces. We left on the Friday morning. Here is the group.

We took some awesome mountain passes and dirt roads during the day.Ended in Hogsback and partied all weekend. My bike is called the Stofkoei.(Translated dirictly from Afrikaans to English that means Dirt Cow.Ha ha)
Well the Stofkoei got branded as well.

We said our goodbyes and decided to head down the coast back to PE and spent the night somewhere in the middle. Here is some of the pics we took along the route.

We spend the night in Port Alfred and the next morning did some riding along the coast. We discovered a place called Cannon Rocks. That is where the beach photos was taken. All in all we had a great time but was glad to see the twins again and sleep in our own bed.

PS: Teddy was mutilated by my one year old Doberman. We had to explain to my daughter and after more tears we replaced Teddy with one of her choice.

Ho ho ho

Ok, this afternoon we had the in laws over for lunch when suddenly my mother in law brought it to my attention that Christmas is just over 35 days from now.Panic stations as once again I have not bought one present yet.Every year I make a promise that I WILL buy presents through out the year.Yeah,right.We normally buy each other small gifts so the family limits it to R50(SA rand) per person. That only complicates the matter as R50 is nothing.Thats 2 packets of cigarettes.

Where to start and what to buy is the other problem.I hate Christmas shopping.I'm more of a voucher type of person, and would rather give everybody vouchers. But what you going to do with a R50 voucher.

What would you do with a R50 voucher?

Branding a cow

During our trip to the Eastern Cape I decided it is time to get another tattoo. So after a long discussion in PE with my better half, I decided to get one on my lower back.He sort of agreed.

However when we got back and I actually had my appointment to go I was told to do what I like.So I did.I phoned my good friend for some moral support and she met me at the studio. My last tattoo I had done was about 4 years ago and I forgot how painful it is.Halfway through I nearly passed out and send my friend to go get me a Coke.Needless to say the Coke and some moral support pulled me through. Thanks Angel

(PS:The hubbie he likes)

Blogging and udder thoughts

After lurking in the shadows and visiting my good friends blog for a while,I though an upgrade is in order.I have a blog on geocities with all the family photos but decided that I need my own space to share some off my moovelous experiences.

I am a mother of three.I have a daughter and twin boys. How do I cope is the question most people ask.Well I don't.

I ride my bike when I have time and we can find a baby sitter.Normally my sister volunteers for this. She must really love me.

We just got back from a week trip down to the Eastern Cape where we got to spend time on our own. That has not happened in a while and we spend most of it on our bikes.I will post a full report on this later.

Have to go and feed the twins.
